What Sustainability means to us.

At Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As a proud GEO-certified club since 2013, we have consistently worked to reduce our environmental impact while championing innovative solutions that improve nature, resource efficiency, and our community. Over the past year, we have undertaken a series of ambitious sustainability initiatives that highlight our commitment to creating a greener future for golf.

Working with Local School

We were approached by Hayes School who each year complete an assignment on our Club as part of their Business Studies course.

On 17^th October we hosted 20 year 12 students and 3 teachers. We gave them a tour of the facilities and a talk around Customer service and how the business operates. We provided lunch for them and then allowed them to have an hour on the driving range using the facilities.

Whilst there is no measurable benefit we have engaged with the local community and works towards our goal of ‘strengthening communities’.
The school are keen to build on the relationship and continue each year.
